This will be Coach Latham’s 5th year at Mascoutah as the Head Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach, his 4rd year as the Head Coach for Boys Track and his 3rd year as the Head Coach for Girls Track. During that time the teams have won a combination of 8 Mississippi Valley Conference Championships, 5 IHSA Regional Championships, and 3 IHSA Sectional Championship. Coach Latham has coached a total of 26 IHSA All-State athletes. “Tradition, Class, and PRIDE” are hallmarks of Mascoutah Cross Country and Track. Great teams and great champions have contributed to that tradition. Each new team, especially our seniors, builds that tradition. Our many victories at all levels are a testimony not only to the hard work of our runners, jumpers, and throwers but also to the degree to which they have come to believe that they can succeed.
